Our History

I am very proud to have left many seeds throughout my career, my whole life has been dedicated to prepare many young men and women to swim. We provided training in my schools and helped in juvenile rehabilitation centers for those who suffered parental neglect or exhibited behavioral problems.

It is in this sport and in my clinics, where hundreds of world-renowned instructors and swimmers who today live and see how their families were formed by this type of effort, many of them have their own swimming academies now, others are swimming instructors or professional swimmers, expanding upon and multiplying their efforts through what was learned by our schools.

I am pleased to know how many future generations of instructors will continue this legacy. This is a project that began with a single purpose, eliminate the risk of drowning deaths. This impacts families by having their lives destroyed.

We seek to continue this project in the United States, specifically in Florida, Broward County is one of the counties with the highest rate of drownings for children between the ages of zero and four years old. We continue this legacy with our family heritage that began in the 1980's when my father Rodrigo Hoyos, my mother Josefina Quintero and my father’s brother began their first swimming schools in Caracas Venezuela.
