David Hoyos Swim School strives to be "better than the rest", we offer the best quality and service when it comes to private swimming lessons for adults, babies, children and special needs students. We offer rehabilitation in aquatic environment with a unique medium for neuromuscular reeducation and strengthening. David Hoyos Swim School private swimming lessons are designed carefully by combining the best American, Australian, and European swimming techniques. Our private swimming instructors and therapists utilize an educational and recreational approach to teach students how to swim and maneuver through water.

David Hoyos Swim School teaches more than just swimming – we give our students a foundation for life. Our instructors give children the tools to make the water a fun and positive journey in life. Water increases joint movements, improves flexibility and makes it easier to grow. Our goal is to create an enjoyable, life-long, love for swimming.

We specialize in providing nurturing swimming lessons to children with prior trauma and/or drowning events. We help those students overcome their fears and gain the necessary confidence to swim independently. We reduce the drowning risk by helping infants and children develop the necessary swimming skills through the lessons and our different programs are for everyone especially special needs kids, and those who seek rehabilitation and/or training.

All our instructors and therapists have American Red Cross certificates in AED, CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety. They attend aquatic therapy courses, in-service and workshops.
